Landscape painting in pastel shades showing the beautiful fall on the light on the land and shore with the brush stroke elements adding to the atmosphere of the work created by contemporary Scottish Artist Donald K Macleod
DK lives in a small remote village in the Outer Hebrides & his surroundings have been a huge inspiration since he started painting at a young age. In 2008 he continued his studies of Fine Art in Uist, successfully graduating with a BA.
Over the past 8 years, DK has experimented in the use of colour and brush strokes, focusing mainly on landscapes in oil,
to produce a distinctive and vivid style of work.
